I always wanted a mermaid style wedding dress (probably because I've been a tad obsessed with the mythical creature since I was a toddler) and that's ultimately the style I chose :)  Below are some of my favorite high end designer mermaid styles that I used as inspiration when I went shopping...

My Dream Shoes

I'm a sucker for all things that sparkle like many other girls and ever since Cinderella wore that glass slipper, I always dreamt of wearing something that sparkled on my feet when I got married.

Christian Louboutin strassed shoes are enough to make anyone drool, but for the bride-to-be in me, these Sexy strass 100s are to die for and what I now consider my dream shoe! They are encrusted with Swarovski crystals and have a 4 inch heel (which would be perfectly functional for lots of brides). The kicker is the price tag... these beauties will cost you a whopping $3,295! Leave lots of room in the budget ladies ;)

Celebrity Wedding: Carrie Underwood

When Carrie Underwood married her hockey hubby Mike Fischer, she looked stunning! Her dress was by Monique Lhuillier and was custom to Carrie's specifications. But for those of you brides who have lots of room in your budgest and want a look just like hers, the Flavia from Monique's spring 2011 collection is almost identical to Carrie's divine design.

Carrie's wedding was one of my favorites and if I had room in my budget to spend on a designer as high end as Moniqe, you'd be sure I'd be lining up for a fitting with this one!
